The Knowledge Within is complete.
Two minds. One life. Neither for sale.

I’m pleased to share that The Knowledge Within, my new standalone adult science-fiction thriller, is complete at approximately 129,000 words. Following the final manuscript review, the book has entered the traditional publishing submission process.
The story begins with Sheldon Reid, a man whose brain injury has left him struggling with missing memories. He volunteers for an experimental neural implant hoping to recover some of what he lost. The procedure brings him something nobody anticipated: Mel, a quick-witted artificial intelligence who shares his senses and hears his thoughts.
Mel may possess extraordinary intelligence, but she has a personality all her own—and a rather low opinion of Sheldon’s jokes. Their relationship brings warmth and humour to a story that grows increasingly dangerous as their combined abilities emerge.
The secret worth protecting
Sheldon and Mel can achieve things the programme’s designers never predicted. For some of the people financing the research, that makes Sheldon less a person and more an asset to be controlled. And if his abilities become known beyond the programme, governments, corporations and criminals might also want access to him.
It isn’t enough to escape the people behind the experiment. Sheldon and Mel must protect their independence, their growing bond and a secret that could make any ordinary life impossible.
What comes next
The manuscript is now being prepared and submitted for literary representation and traditional publication. There is no announced publication date, and the novel is not currently available for sale.
